Big Bad Soca headliners Bunji Garlin and Fay Ann Lyons (centre) arrived in St. Eustatius on Tuesday evening. They were met by the show’s promoters, members of the Royalty Organisation, and by Asha Robins, Ruth Woodley and the children of the Asha Robins after-school programme.
The children serenaded Garlin singing “Happy Birthday” as he was celebrating his birthday on Tuesday. The Big Bad Soca show will take place tonight, Wednesday, at Carnival City, at 9:00. The show will also feature T-Time and Face, Turbulanzz band and others. Some of the show’s proceeds will go towards the after-school programme. The Miss Mature Pageant, in which five contestants will be competing, will be taking place Thursday night.
