SURFACE WINDS: 
This afternoon through Tuesday midday: East-northeasterly with a gentle to fresh breeze of 12 to 22 miles per hour and occasional higher gusts.

SYNOPSIS: 
Available moisture and instability associated with an approaching tropical wave will account for isolated showers across the region. Also, the Atlantic high pressure system will maintain brisk winds during this forecast period.

Seas have increased slightly, and will continue to peak near 8 feet through the next few days. Therefore, a small craft advisory remains in effect. Small craft operators and sea bathers should continue to exercise caution.
