Milton Peters College students travelled to the Netherlands this past weekend to participate in the Olympic Moves Basketball Competition. Minister of Sports Silveria Jacobs wished the young athletes the best of luck at Princess Juliana International Airport SXM. The event is due to take place in the Olympic Stadium in Amsterdam this week and the team is expected to compete in the Street Ball category during the tournament. They will also visit several schools during the trip, to allow students who are considering higher education in the Netherlands to make an informed choice about their future studies.
