SYNOPSIS:

 

A dry and stable atmosphere associated with the dominant Atlantic high-pressure system will continue to restrict precipitation across the local area.

 

Moderate sea conditions can be expected for the next few days with waves peaking up to 7 feet. Small craft operator and sea bathers should exercise caution.

 

STATE OF THE SEA: Moderate       WAVES/SWELLS: 5 to 7 feet

 

SPECIAL FEATURE:

 

An area of low pressure located about a little over 1000 miles east of the Lesser Antilles is producing a concentrated area of showers and thunderstorms. Environmental conditions are favorable for development and a tropical depression is expected to form within the next couple of days while the system moves west-northwestward at 15 to 20 mph.
