SYNOPSIS:
The strengthening Atlantic high-pressure ridge will generate a brisk wind field over the next few days. Pockets of low-level moisture drifting in the wind flow will result in cloudy periods and brief but frequent isolated showers.
Seas are expected to deteriorate today, largely due to strong winds and to a lesser extent Northwesterly swells. A small craft advisory is now in effect until at least Saturday while a high surf advisory is in effect for today, Wednesday. Sea bathers and small craft operators are strongly advised to exercise caution.
