SYNOPSIS:  

A mid to upper level trough will continue to generate unstable conditions across the region. Moisture from a passing weak tropical wave will also continue to cause periodic clouds and isolated showers over the local region. Some of these showers may be heavy and possibly associated with thunder. Residents and users of areas prone to flooding are advised to be vigilant.

Seas are currently peaking near 6 feet, and are expected to remain moderate through the next several days. Small craft operators and sea bathers should continue exercising caution.
