A mid to upper level trough will continue to generate unstable conditions across the region. An approaching tropical wave will bring even more moisture and instability to the Leeward Islands. As a result, cloudy skies, scattered showers some of which can be heavy and isolated thunderstorms could be expected during this forecast period. Residents and users of areas prone to flooding are advised to be vigilant.
Seas are peaking near 7 feet, marine conditions are expected to slowly subside over the next several days. Small craft operators and sea bathers should continue exercising caution.
