SYNOPSIS:
A tightened pressure gradient associated with the Atlantic high pressure ridge will generate stronger winds and deteriorating seas across the region. Additionally, a moist and unstable atmosphere will account for cloudy periods and isolated showers across the local area.
Moderate to rough seas are expected for the next few days. As a result, a small craft advisory is in effect for St. Maarten from today, until further notice. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution, especially along the eastern coast.
