SYNOPSIS:

The Atlantic high pressure system will continue to dominate the weather pattern across the region. Consequently, precipitation will be restricted and southeasterly winds will continue during this forecast period.

A high surf advisory is in effect for St. Maarten as long period northerly swells are expected to start affecting local waters by tonight. Small craft operators and sea bathers should exercise caution.
