SYNOPSIS:
A slightly less intense low-pressure system well north of the region is generating long period swells and above-normal wave action resulting in hazardous seas across the region. In addition, an increase in available moisture in the atmosphere today, will increase the probability of showers across the region.
Seas will peak near 12 feet through Thursday as long period northerly swells continue to affect the region. Consequently, a small craft warning and a high surf advisory are in effect. Small craft operators and sea bathers are urged to stay on shore.
