SYNOPSIS:

A relatively drier atmosphere will restrict significant precipitation over the Northeastern Caribbean for the next several days. However, pockets of moisture could still result in periods of cloudiness and a few brief showers. Additionally, a weakened Atlantic high-pressure system will generate light winds across the region.

Long period northeasterly swells will continue to cause rough seas across regional waters, particularly along the Northern and Eastern shores. As a result, a high surf warning remains in effect. Small craft operators and sea bathers are urged to stay on shore to prevent personal injury or material damage.

STATE OF THE SEA: Moderate to Rough        WAVES/SWELLS: 6 to 10 feet

SPECIAL FEATURE: None.

OUTLOOK through Saturday midday: Fair to partly cloudy with a brief local shower possible.

FORECASTER: Pierre
