SYNOPSIS:
The Atlantic high pressure system will maintain brisk winds and hazardous seas across the region today. Winds are expected to gradually decrease later this evening through Thursday as the pressure gradient weakens. Additionally, drier air spreading across the local area will restrict precipitation during this forecast period.
Marine conditions will slowly improve from tomorrow with decreasing winds. The small craft warning will remain in effect for St. Maarten today due to rough seas and strong winds. Sea bathers and small craft operators are urged to stay on shore.
