Saturday: Fair to partly cloudy and windy with brief isolated showers possible.

SURFACE WINDS: 

This afternoon through Saturday evening: East-northeast to east with a moderate to strong breeze of 13 to 25 miles per hour and higher gusts.

SYNOPSIS:

The strengthening Atlantic high pressure system is generating brisk winds that will account for hazardous sea conditions. Patches of clouds embedded in the wind flow will produce occasional cloudiness and isolated showers across the local area.

As a result of increasing winds, rough marine conditions are expected for the next several days. A small craft advisory is in effect for above normal seas and brisk winds. Small craft operators and sea bathers are advised to exercise extreme caution.

STATE OF THE SEA:  Rough       WAVES/SWELLS: 8 to 11 feet
