SYNOPSIS:   

The Atlantic high-pressure system will continue to dominate the weather pattern across the region. However, an approaching tropical wave will increase the probability of showers during the latter part of this forecast period.  

Seas are expected to gradually deteriorate and peak at 6 feet during the next 24 hours.  

STATE OF THE SEA: Slight to moderate        WAVES/SWELLS: 3 to 6 feet  

SPECIAL FEATURES:  A tropical wave located over the central tropical Atlantic is moving toward the northwest at 10 to 15 mph and producing disorganized showers and thunderstorms. Environmental conditions appear favorable for development during the next few days and a tropical depression could form by the weekend.
