Possible looted goods
The Customs, Coast Guard and Police Force conducted a joint control of a vessel in Simpson Bay on Monday. The officers found a number of beverages on board with no crew on the vessel. The beverages were confiscated and police detectives are now investigating whether these beverages were looted post-Hurricane Irma. The boat came from Dominica. Customs Head Anthony Doran told The Daily Herald on Monday night that once more information is available, he will inform the public.
