Police reports burglary at Gwendoline van Putten

ST. EUSTATIUS--A burglary in the technology room of Gwendoline van Putten secondary school at Ruby Hassell Road in St. Eustatius was reported to the Caribbean Netherlands Police Force on Sunday, April 15.

Unknown persons gave themselves access to the room by destroying the padlocks on the back door. Inside the room, the storage box was destroyed and among other things, a red/black hand drill and battery of the brand Milwaukee and a yellow electric planer of the brand Dewalt were taken. A crowbar was found on location and was confiscated for further research, the Police said Monday.

The Police in St. Eustatius also announced they will be holding a recruitment drive at the Police Station today, Tuesday, from 9:00am until 12:00pm.
