Pointe Blanche traffic temporarily normal

PHILIPSBURG--The Police Force in consultation with the Ministry of Public Housing, Spatial Planning, Environment and Infrastructure VROMI announced on Friday that the roadblocks placed to assist with roadworks taking place in Pointe Blanche have been suspended for now.

W.G. Buncamper Road will again be open for traffic in both directions between 4:00 and 6:00pm. All barricades and traffic signs placed during the trenching will be removed. The trenching of W.G. Buncamper Road has stopped temporarily in connection with the scheduled Carnival parades. The work will continue after the Carnival period.

All drivers should take keen note of this traffic measure and drive carefully as the traffic goes back to normal.
