Hurricane Irma slammed this sailboat into the Simpson Bay causeway and some 11 months later, the boat remains attached to the Simpson Bay end of the bridge.
A family with young children is living on the damaged boat that appears to have only wind-generated power via a windmill. The owner of the boat has been told by the Ministry of Infrastructure VROMI to remove the vessel before the peak of the hurricane season. (Rajesh Chintaman photo)
