An armed robbery by two men dressed in dark clothing with their faces covered took place at Marty’s Gyros on Welfare Road close to Kim Sha Beach at 1:30am Tuesday.
One of the men was armed with a handgun and stormed into the establishment from the rear of the building. The armed suspect threatened several customers with his firearm while at the same time allowing the second suspect to rob at least four victims of their personal belongings. After committing this act, the men fled the scene via the rear of the building. Nothing was stolen from the establishment and no customer or staff member was injured during the robbery, according to police.
