Rotaract Sunrise Receives International Award

Philipsburg, Sint Maarten- May 24th, 2016 The Rotaract Club of St. Maarten Sunrise received an award and a certificate for the Basic Education & Literacy: Four Way Test Song Competition which they took part in through a video to promote the four way test recited by the Rotary family all around the world.

Rotaractors Anandah Brandy and Jamanties Gumbs recorded a song to delineate the meaning and origin of the four way test and Rotary on a whole. This video received the most likes and received first prize throughout District 7020. As part of the prize, the club received US five hundred dollars to put towards any upcoming community project.(The video can be found on our facebook page.)
Rotaract club, a Rotary club partner, is a non-profit organization and community service club, for individuals between 18 and 30 years old. The Rotaract Club also provides unique opportunities for individuals to develop themselves professionally and network with different people around the world, through workshops, guest speakers and international service projects.
