The penitentiary facility of the Caribbean Netherlands Judicial Institution in Bonaire has relocated Sunday to the building on Plantation Aruba.
The move, supported by the Police, Customs, Royal Constabulary Marechaussee and the Ministry of Defence, was said to have realized in an “efficient and orderly manner.” The former building in Kralendijk will be dismantled. A large part of the materials of the old building will be reused, Government Department Caribbean Netherlands said in a statement.
