National Day of Prayer is Sunday, January 14

PHILIPSBURG--The thirteenth annual National Day of Prayer will be held this Sunday, January 14, in front of the new Government Administration Building under the theme “Repentance will result in the glory of God on the land.” The ecumenical service will begin at 4:00pm with praise and worship led by Harmonics Team and Band.

The order of service includes a call to worship and invocation. Renditions will be done by the church choir of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Intercessory prayers for Government, economic stability, the family, the youth and protection, and against crime and violence will be offered by a member of the clergy, together with various persons from the different churches.
The National Day of Prayer is observed annually on the second Sunday in January, with an invitation to people of all faiths to pray for the nation. It is a way of bringing together the entire population in prayer to start the New Year on the right footing.
