MPs meet today on proposal to request election advice

 

PHILIPSBURG--Members of Parliament (MPs) will sit in a public plenary session today, Friday for the continuation of a meeting on a proposal to request advice from the Council of Advice on the February 26 snap parliamentary election.

  The proposal is from Chairperson of Parliament Sarah Wescot-Williams. The plenary public meeting was adjourned on Thursday, January 25, due to lack of a quorum. The meeting is set to start at 10:00am.

  The public can follow the deliberations in person at the House of Parliament located across from the Courthouse in Philipsburg.

   The parliamentary session will be carried live on St. Maarten Cable TV Channel 120, 98.1 Pearl FM, 107.9 FM,
