MPs continue talks on new  Code of Criminal Procedure

PHILIPSBURG--Members of Parliament (MPs) will continue their talks on the national ordinance establishing a new Code of Criminal Procedure during a virtual public session of Parliament today Friday, at 2:00pm.

  The prior meeting on the subject was adjourned on March 20. Minister of Justice Egbert Jurendy Doran will be in attendance at the virtual session.

  Due to measures taken to mitigate the coronavirus COVID-19, the House of Parliament is currently closed to the public until further notice. The parliamentary session will be carried live on St. Maarten Cable TV Channel 115, 107.9FM, 98.1FM,
