MOU signed Thursday for Clayton J. Lloyd Airport

ANGUILLA--At the Executive Council Meeting on Thursday, November 16, the Director of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) Overseas Territories Directorate Ben Marrick signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Government of Anguilla. The MOU outlines the support from the UK for the re-certification of the Clayton J. Lloyd International Airport.

  The project includes the installation of a temporary air traffic control tower; a new airfield security fence, lighting and test flights for the GPS Navaid System. The temporary tower arrived Wednesday in Anguilla and will soon be in operation.
