A woman was treated by paramedics Thursday evening on Soursop Road where she claimed her husband had physically abused her. She sustained bruises from the scuffle and was transported to St. Maarten Medical Center for further treatment. Police officers searched the area for the husband, but were unable to locate him. Authorities are conducting an investigation.
