A group of women from the Indian community recently came together to celebrate Mother’s Day and raise funds for a good cause. After the festivities that included games and prizes for the best Indian outfits in Newa Chopstix restaurant on Front Street, event organisers Harsha Shivlani and Jaanvi Sadarangani used funds raised to provide a meal for children who form part of the St. Martin Pony League.
