MARIGOT--Curaçao-based Dutch photo model Chantal Wiertz is currently in St. Maarten/St. Martin for photoshoots with photographer Jean Jarreau. She is staying as a guest of Mercure Hotel in Baie Nettle during her week-long visit.
Shoots at the hotel have been completed and more will follow by the end of the week together with two other models. The photographs will be used by Mercure hotel for an updated brochure and presentation when the new marina, restaurant and other projects are finished in the next few months. The hotel is fully operational and reservations are high.
Wiertz (20) will also do shoots for Cuvée Jean Jarreau wines on the island and, with another young model, will work with Landrover Jeeps in St. Barths.
“The young model has worked extensively and several times in the fashion industry in China and other countries. It's her first time in St. Maarten/St. Martin, but she said that she definitely wants to come back,” a press release stated.
