Government has removed the eyesore that was the former Air Lekkerbek restaurant from the side of W.J.A. Nisbeth Road.
The towing away of the decommissioned airplane to Bobby’s Marina was not the end to the unsightly mess. The remaining supports of the airplane and a considerable amount of trash are still littering the landscape, creating a new blight on the roadside. (John Halley photo)
