MAN leader steps down

Hensley Koeiman.

WILLEMSTAD--Curaçao Minster of Social Development, Labour and Wellbeing Hensley Koeiman has made his position as political leader of MAN available to the coalition party. Eight weeks ago, he sent a letter to the board, which only recently announced it.

Due to the troubles surrounding MAN’s former Economic Development Minister Steven Martina and his intended successor Neysa Isenia, the letter was kept behind.

The reason for Koeiman’s decision is not known but could be related to problems at his ministry of Social Affairs. He was on an official trip when the news came out.
