Lala’s casual beachfront dining restaurant opened on Friday night. The restaurant, a part of Sonesta Great Bay Beach Resort and Casino, combined the best of the beach with a buffet of Caribbean and international flavours and a selection of desserts. The restaurant is opened to both resort guests and island residents for an all-day pass costing US $89 per person. Lala’s also has private cabanas for an additional fee. The new attraction in Philipsburg seeks to also capture some of the cruise ship visitors so they so can get a taste of island life and hopefully be inspired to return as stay-over visitors.
