ST. EUSTATIUS--Repair works to Jeems Road is set to start today, Wednesday, February 7, the Directorate of Economy and Infrastructure said.

The road from the intersection of Sandy Road to the intersection of Airport Road will be repaved under the supervision of the Department of Spatial Planning and Management DROB. The public is being asked to keep monitoring the media as well as the Government Information Service for further updates. It was announced previously that the construction cost for Jeems Road is expected to be US $100,000. Some work on Jeems Road has already begun – a worker was seen digging up the street in preparation for the works.

The Government of St. Eustatius recently completed work on Bay Road.
