COLE BAY--Hundreds of persons attended Motorworld Group’s Annual Christmas Car Show held at Motorworld on Saturday.

“It has been a whirlwind for us,” Motorworld Group’s Managing Director Tariq Amjad said in a press release on Sunday. “Not only with the aftermath of the hurricane damages, but also the sudden passing of our beloved staff and extended family member Beverly Morris.

“However, we felt it necessary to continue to celebrate in the spirit of the Christmas season and bring positive vibes to uplift everyone, including our many customers and colleagues. In addition, we strive to provide the community with another form of relief with the major deals and discounts on all of our quality auto brands, makes and models, with the added value of free warranty and extended service protection on many vehicles. This provides us all with some peace of mind, as we to continue to recover and rebuild together.”

The company said in a press release that hundreds of persons flocked to Motorworld’s state-of-the-art showroom to take advantage of the promotions on offer.

Customers were also able to enjoy complimentary food, drinks and entertainment. Families attended so that their little ones could enjoy the Kiddie’s Corner with a colourful bounce house, along with popcorn and cotton candy, which were shared amongst children. All the major banks including Windward Islands Bank, RBC Royal Bank, Scotiabank, PSB and CIBC FirstCaribbean International Bank were on hand to assist customers with on-the-spot financing, which included reduced interest rates, as well as up to three months free payments.

The Group said many customers left satisfied with their new vehicles and their free gifts, as others relaxed and revelled in the fun.

This year was the sixth year the Motorworld Group has been hosting the Annual Christmas Car Show. The Group said hosting the event was “particularly remarkable,” considering the major losses sustained recently by the companies and the community.

Persons who were unable to attend the car show, the Group said will still have an opportunity “to get a fantastic deal on your dream vehicle,” as Motorworld, Caribbean Auto and Audi will now launch their Christmas Car Sale.
