President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron has named Philippe Gustin as the new Préfet of Guadeloupe, on the recommendation of the Minister of the Interior and Minister of Overseas Territories.
Gustin will still retain his function as the Inter-Ministerial Délégué for the reconstruction of St. Martin and St. Barths. One of the first priorities will be to finalise with the elected officials of Guadeloupe arrangements for the Overseas Territories conference. (Photo Robert Luckock)
