Govt. still unable to offer public services

POND ISLAND The public will not be able to access Government services usually available via the Government Administration Building one full week after Government’s servers were yet again hit by a cyber-attack.

All departments that render service to the public will remain closed today, Monday, as the information and communication technology (ICT) network recovery process continues, the Ministry of General Affairs announced on Sunday night.
All civil servants must report to work today, the Minister said.
Government said it “sincerely apologises for any inconvenience that this unfortunate situation may have caused.”
There has been no further information about how hackers were able to penetrate Government’s firewalls the third time in just over a year.
