Prime Ministers William Marlin (St. Maarten), Mike Eman (Aruba) and Hensley Koeiman (Curaçao) at the OCT-EU Conference in Aruba
WILLEMSTAD--Renewable energy, how to deal with the risks of global climate change and the relationships among countries after Brexit are topics under the microscope at the fifteenth Overseas Countries and Territories-European Union (OCT-EU) conference in Aruba.
The conference, which comes to an end on Friday, is being attended by Prime Minister William Marlin along with Prime Ministers Mike Eman (Aruba) and Hensley Koeiman (Curaçao).
Dutch Minister of Internal Affairs and Kingdom Relations Ronald Plasterk is also present at the conference. He met separately with Marlin and afterwards said only “we had an extensive conversation. The conclusion is that we will continue talking in the coming weeks.”
The OCT-EU is the association of overseas countries and territories and countries of the European Union.
