GEBE retreat

GEBE power-plant employees attended a retreat May 4 to 5 that focused on improving services to customers and reviewedpolicies and procedures to ensure GEBE is providing the best services possible. The retreat was a continuation of a prior retreat held earlier in the year that identified a new way forward for the plant. It focused on adopting high performance principles, eliminating department challenges, improving plant functions and increasing internal employee’s momentum and morale.

The retreats have been led by Training Professionals International (TPI) supporting GEBE with identifying more modern-day, effective procedures and practices to enhance customer service, in addition to making recommendations to improve employee accountability, train staff to perform at high levels, and build relationships with employees to enhance GEBE’s culture to be competitive in the energy sector in the Caribbean. GEBE’s Managing Board will host similar retreats with the staff of their Distribution Team May 10 to 11.
