GEBE Cay Hill water tank down

PHILIPSBURG--Many residents are without water as utility company GEBE is experiencing issues with a damaged pump at the Cay Hill water tank location.

According to the company, the pump stopped working since December 22, causing many residents to be either out of water or have little to no pressure.

On Monday morning, GEBE communications officer Paula Gordon said their teams worked throughout the night on Sunday replacing one of the main water pumps that feeds water to the recently installed Cay Hill tank

GEBE workers managed to replace the pump and continue to work on the installation until water is restored to all areas affected. NV GEBE apologized to its clients for this unfortunate situation which was beyond their control.
