Gasoline, diesel fuel prices going up Wed.

PHILIPSBURG--Citing upward price developments on the international markets, the Ministry of Tourism, Economic Affairs, Transportation and Telecommunication (TEATT) has announced increases of the maximum consumer prices for unleaded gasoline and diesel fuel as of 6:00am Wednesday, April 18.

The maximum price of unleaded gasoline at the pumps will be increased from the current price of NAf. 2.025 per litre to NAf. 2.073 per litre.

The price for diesel fuel will go up from NAf. 1.062 per litre to NAf. 1.613 per litre.

The Government of St. Maarten regulates the prices of petroleum products by imposing a maximum price at which wholesalers and retailers can sell these products in St. Maarten.
