Gasoline, diesel fuel prices go up Tuesday

PHILIPSBURG--The prices at the pumps for unleaded gasoline and diesel fuel will be increased as of 6:00am Tuesday, January 30, the Ministry of Tourism, Economic Affairs, Transportation and Telecommunication (TEATT) announced Sunday.

The maximum consumer price for unleaded gasoline will be increased from the current price of NAf. 1.994 to the new price of NAf. 2.025. The price for diesel fuel will go up from NAf. 1.545 to NAf. 1.602.

TEATT stated the price increases were due to “ongoing developments on the international level” at which the prices of crude oil have experienced “adjustments upward.”
