Future leaders

The St. Maarten Youth Parliament held its Introductory Leadership Training Day on Monday.

Twenty young persons participated, including two representatives of the Youth Territorial Council of Saint Martin. The Training Day included a workshop on Interpersonal Communications with Roy Cotton Jr., followed by a seminar on Leadership Qualities. The activities included brainstorming sessions and team-building exercises. All participants expressed appreciation for the sessions and eagerly anticipate the next training day. The St. Maarten Youth Parliament will close out its recruitment process this week, during its General Membership Meeting at Rupert I. Maynard Youth Community Centre in St. Peters at 12:45pm Saturday, February 17. Interested youth ages 12-24 are invited to visit Rupert I.
