ST. EUSTATIUS--On Wednesday, July 22, the sold-out Flavour Invasion show saw Statia Carnival 62 come alive with incredible performances and amazing music at the Ernest “Mike” van Putten Youth Centre/Lion’s Den, affectionately called the Carnival Village.

The evening of non-stop music saw Chewawah and Band, El Gringo and Band, Turbulanzz Band, and Kai and Band entertain a very enthusiastic crowd from start to finish of the show with Latin, local, and zouk music. The disc jockeys for the evening, namely DJ Rock, DJ Ricky, and DJ Euro, kept the vibes flowing throughout the night during intermissions. The dress code for the night was white and denim, and most attendees followed the dress code, with some adding a little extra flair to their outfits.

Friday night marks the start of the final stretch of shows and events leading up to the closing of Carnival on the island. Today, July 24, the Bacchanal Friday Show will feature a jam-packed lineup including Dirty Dawg Pudaz, Jammboyzz Band, D’Vybzz Band, Mr. Ridge, Shelly and Signal Band, Grand Masters Band, and others.

The Bacchanal Friday Show will lead right into J’ouvert Morning, which starts at 4:00am on Saturday, July 25, at the Carnival Village. Later that same day, the First Day Parade of Statia Carnival will commence, with many troupes taking to the streets to dance, have fun, and entertain the masses along the parade route.

Later that evening, a Car Show and Sound Clash will rev up at the Carnival Village. The battle for sound supremacy will feature Fat Boy Tuning Team and The Bullies, along with 10 of Statia’s best sound cars competing for bragging rights and prizes.

On Sunday, July 26, the Grand Parade will commence, with the troupes and other floats taking part in the festivities. The parade will conclude at the Carnival Village, where the troupe show will take place. On Monday, July 27, Statia Carnival 2026 will come to a close with the burning of King Momo at the Carnival Village at 8:00pm.
