Five cruise ships in port Christmas, Boxing Day

PORT--Five cruise ships with more than 10,000 cruise passengers and crew will be visiting St. Maarten on Christmas and Boxing Day.

Cruise ships Marella Celebration and Independence of the Seas will be in port on Monday, December 25, and Grandeur of the Seas, Azamara Quest and Jewel of the Seas will be in port on Tuesday, December 26.
There will be more than 5,000 cruise passengers and crew visiting the destination on Christmas Day and a similar number on Boxing Day.
Port St. Maarten Management calls on stakeholders and the community to give the cruise ship passengers and crew “a warm St. Maarten Christmas holiday welcome and smile. Secondly, with the long holiday weekend here, if you are visiting one of the island’s beaches, remember not to litter. We need to keep the island clean for everybody to enjoy.”
