Fire personnel at practical exams.
ST. EUSTATIUS--Fire personnel from Bonaire, St. Eustatius and Saba recently took the Manschaap B exams and received their third stripe.
Two of the fire personnel were from Bonaire, four from Saba and three from St. Eustatius. Together, there were seven men and two women.
Kenneth de Palen from the Fire Department of the Caribbean Netherlands BKCN conducted the training. Course instructors and examiners were drawn from St. Maarten and Bonaire. They were William York of St. Maarten, Michael Crul and Gravy Anthonij from Bonaire. Assistant instructor was Imro Mercera (Bonaire), Glenn Macnack (St. Maarten) and Renee Courtar, Wayne Maharaj, Deyns Saladin from St. Eustatius.
