Fine donation

Fines collected from Learning Unlimited Preparatory School students for violating the no phone use during school hours went to a good cause. Students had to pay at the end of the school day to retrieve their phones. The US $390 collected in fines was donated by the school to St. Maarten Animal Welfare Foundation.  School Head Daunesh Alcott, decided to donate all of the money to the Foundation. “We were delighted to have the monies and hope the wayward students feel their fines are going to a good cause,” said Foundation Treasurer Pamela Sims.
