Fight against mosquito

Beverly Woodley (seated) took the oath of office to become the new vector controller for the Public Health Department GGD of St. Eustatius.

The oath was taken in front of Government Commissioner Marcolino “Mike” Franco (right) and Acting Government Commissioner Mervyn Stegers. Woodley was born on Statia and attended Governor de Graaff primary school and graduated from Gwendoline van Putten school. She also attended Frater Aurelio MBO school in Curaçao where she obtained a level-2 in Information and Communication Technology. Woodley is related to former Acting Island Governor Julian Woodley and a niece of former Commissioner Charles Woodley.
