OYSTER POND--Crime prevention through environmental design, crime statistics and safety tips were amongst the issues discussed when Community Police Officer (CPO) Felix Richards met with residents of Oyster Pond, Dawn Beach, Tamarind Hill and Ocean Terrance on Saturday evening.

Felix made a presentation to attendees during the town hall meeting. The forming of a neighbourhood WhatsApp group was also discussed. Felix also provided police safety tips on how residents can better secure their neighbourhood.

Police spokesperson Chief Inspector Ricardo Henson said in a press release on Monday that the meeting had been well attended and the information shared “well received.”

Residents thanked the Police Force for the initiative and look forward to working hand-in-hand with the police in keeping their neighbourhood safe, Henson said in the release.
