Excessive waste  control in Statia

ST. EUSTATIUS--Caribbean Netherlands Police Force KPCN, in collaboration with employees of United Licenses and the Supervision and Enforcement Department, checked various locations for excess waste Tuesday afternoon, March 23.

  The residential areas of Golden Rock, Concordia and Princess Garden, and Gwendoline van Putten Road, Paul I. Courtar Road and Passionfruit Road were audited.

  Waste was found at various homes and residents were approached and asked to immediately start cleaning up. One person received a police report for having been warned several times.

  The team visited these locations again on Wednesday, March 24, to check whether clean-ups have actually started.
