Former head of the Dutch Coast Guard of the Caribbean in St. Maarten Eddy Kirindongo is said to be the candidate for the Ministry of Justice. His justice and integrity screenings are said to be completed, paving the way for his swearing-in to take place in the coming days. Kirindongo is the candidate of United St. Maarten Party (USP) led by Member of Parliament Frans Richardson. He is the final Minister needed to complete the William Marlin Cabinet. Finance Minister Richard Gibson is currently serving as ad interim Justice Minister.
