Residents in the Belair district were shocked to find out that police were burning contraband at Emerald Funeral home in Cay Hill on Wednesday morning. Several police cars were seen speeding through the streets on Wednesday and stopping at the funeral home.
Bags of drugs were transported inside the home and minutes later, smoke came from the incinerator of the building while officers stood around the building. Police declined to comment about the operation when asked by The Daily Herald on Wednesday evening.
